We’ve put together a whole timetable of relaxed, child-led sessions for you and your little one to enjoy from October to December. This is your chance to explore our space, spend time together and start getting to know the other local families who’ll become part of our community. Think of it as a gentle warm-up before our regular memberships (coworking and nursery) kick off properly in January.
What Is Stay & Play?
If you haven’t been to a Stay & Play before, you’re in for a treat. We’re running informal drop-in sessions where your little one can play in a safe, stimulating space, while you catch up with friends or make new ones, and perhaps even enjoy a hot drink. No pressure, no rigid schedules – just quality time while your child explores different activities and meets new people.
What to Expect
Each session follows a gentle rhythm so everyone knows what’s coming:
Welcome & Settling
Say hello while your child explores at their own pace and you settle in with a coffee or join in with their play.
Free Play
Different activity zones set up around the room – messy play, construction, role play, books, small world. We’ll be around to chat, share ideas, and support interactions, but you lead the way.
Group Activity
Simple and fun – action songs, story time with props, or a themed craft.
Wind Down
A tidy-up song, final story, and home-time routine to help with transitions.
Fun For Everyone
No matter what stage of baby or toddlerhood you’re at, you’re welcome here. We’re running themed sessions designed for different ages and interests:
Baby Stay & Play (0-12 months)
Gentle sensory play for little ones and their grown-ups. Explore textures, sounds, and movements in a calm and supportive space.
Toddler Stay & Play (1-3 years)
Active play for curious toddlers – building, creating, moving, discovering. Plenty of room to explore safely.
Messy Play Sessions (All ages)
Get stuck in with paint, sand, water, and other gloriously messy materials. We’ll provide the space and clean-up, you bring a change of clothes and lots of enthusiasm!
Creative Play (2+ years)
Craft activities, storytelling, music, role play. Perfect for little people with big imaginations.
Outdoor Play (Weather permitting, all ages)
Fresh air and active play in one of our lovely local outdoor spaces. Fingers crossed for some winter sunshine!
Starting Next Week
These sessions run from Monday 6th October all the way to 21st December. It’s a chance for all of us – you, your children and our team – to settle in, get to know each other, and build that community feel. No rush, no pressure. Just good company, decent coffee and space to breathe.
